Q:Would you say that cosplaying is for the privileged classes in your country?

Not at all. It’s all about resourcefulness, dedication, and love for the hobby and the series or characters you’re representing.
An excellent example is Team March (Zhel who cosplayed Warrior of Light with AC as Gabranth) who represented the Philippines during AFA ‘11 in Singapore. They placed first on the Regional Cosplay Championships against other Southeast Asian countries. They made their costumes using inexpensive materials like rubber foam sheets and even cardboard boxes from instant noodles.
You may see them in action in this video. I admire them a lot, especially because they are people who are as wonderful as their costumes are amazing.
