Cosplay Questions Part 2

I cannot think of a way that cosplay has gotten in the way of my personal life, so no.

I can imagine that it might make some people treat you differently or look down on you, but I guess that would show you who your real friends are, right? :)

I don’t really have a single source yet and I get them from different places all the time.

If you’re from Manila: For more natural-colored wigs, I sometimes go to the wig section of SM Department store. Sometimes they have decent stuff in there, though watch out for the ones with excessively shiny fibers. Another local source I go to is Lynelle in V-Mall at Greenhills Shopping Center.

If you’re willing to wait a while for it, you can try ordering through Johara of Kospurei Sugar, based in Davao City. Items are mostly for pre-order, so you’ll have to wait to get your wig. It’s worth it though, because they have an excellent collection of wigs to choose from, and they’re really meant for cosplay.

I’ve got nothing against them. :) Not everyone’s eyes are suitable for contact lens wear (because of the natural curve of their eyeballs or other health conditions) so I don’t expect all cosplayers to wear contact lenses. And if people choose not to wear them for personal reasons, that’s completely understandable too.

Aww, you’re sweet. :) And yeah sure, I’d do more female cosplays! I don’t discriminate characters based on their gender, hahah. As long as I like their personality and design enough, I’ll give ‘em a shot!

I absolutely don’t mind! I’m usually more surprised when people do recognize me, especially when I’m not in costume. But yeah, I really don’t feel like a lot of people know me and I don’t mind that. :) I value privacy.

When I’m cosplaying, I don’t need people to take notice, or ask for pictures in order for me to enjoy myself. I cosplay simply because putting a costume together and wearing it makes me happy. And as long as I’m with my friends, it’s the easiest thing in the world to have a great time. :D
