While doing a heroic Chinese movie poster-style cosplay shoot with my friends, we wondered what would be like if Mulan were made into a bad Hollywood action flick, or a B-movie.
I can almost hear lines from the trailer. “I’M A RICE FARMER, MOTHERF-“

They see through my disguise! Here’s a shot of our Mulan group.
We have very cool baristas at our usual Starbucks for Megatrade cons. I was wondering why they didn’t ask for my name when I ordered, then I was pleasantly surprised when my drink arrived. I would have also liked though if they did ask, so I could pull out Mulan’s awkward line when Shang first asked her for her name. “I… have a name… And it’s a boy’s name too!” I did not know I was opening my eyes so wide at the time
And for Miguel who was dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow — they did not forget the “Captain” ;D
