Q:Hi, Jin! I'm Rachel. I've been "following" your work for a few years now, starting at DeviantART. I'm not into cosplay, myself, but I always enjoy seeing your photos and posts documenting such. Plus, you're just an all-around great person, as far as I can see. I recently realized that I've never heard your voice. Which isn't a big deal, really... but it got me curious. Are there any videos out there featuring your voice? ...Or, would you be willing to record a short something? :)
Hi, Rachel! Thank you for the kind words. You are so sweet. And now I must apologize for to answer your question I shall link a video that might persuade you to lose your respect for me. Hahaha!
Here is a video of me and my friends in a karaoke room. Our voices get mixed together at times but at 0:57 it’s kind of hard to miss me.
For some of you guys, this may be your first time hearing my voice. I’m sorry it had to be like this. Hahaha!
OKAY I’M RELOADED

While doing a heroic Chinese movie poster-style cosplay shoot with my friends, we wondered what would be like if Mulan were made into a bad Hollywood action flick, or a B-movie.
I can almost hear lines from the trailer. “I’M A RICE FARMER, MOTHERF-“

Hello, 2012! This is me with a mustache.
My new year’s resolution is to not make this facial hair a part of my everyday look. That should be easy enough to keep.
More pictures from the holidays in my journal post over HERE.

Two of our favorite moments during our experience at the UP Lantern Parade 2011. So much pun!
The guys and I wore My Chemical Romance-inspired outfits. Me and Miguel from the Black Parade era, Melo and Bok from Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, and Dom was something in between I guess. Hahaha!
It just started with me joking that we should join the Lantern Parade as the Black Parade. We didn’t all have our jackets yet so this is what we ended up with. XD
It was really cool though how so many people got us. Everywhere we went they’d be like “MCR!” or sing lines from Welcome to the Black Parade, I’m Not Okay, or Famous Last Words. Whenever we got the chance, we’d go in between the lantern floats and jokingly march behind them in the middle of the street.
We had a great night! We spotted a lot of amusing costumes, saw some really cool lantern floats (including a Gundam one), watched people light floating lanterns and set them free, and ate school fair food in the familiar fields of my campus under a clear night sky.
