So last Saturday I cosplayed the live action movie version of Kenshin and felt it would only be right to go all the way by paying tribute(?) to the thing in which I first encountered Takeru Sato — his Lotte Fit’s commercial.
Dancing with Kagami and Aomine because why not
We only managed one take because too many people were coming to watch, we got shy HAHAH. More of last weekend’s shenanigans on my Facebook page!

I get a lot of questions about the length of my hair, and I think an appropriate response is something James Jean jokingly said when asked about his longer hair during one of his talks that I attended: “I just left it alone and I didn’t think it would become this beautiful.” Yup, that’s pretty much it.
Also at some point I wanted to look like an elf from LotR. I think my hair has grown more fabulous than Elrond’s now.

Video footage from last weekend’s con, filmed by our very talented friend Resh! You can see some of our shenanigans here, hahah. I usually share pictures, but I think his videos make you feel all the more like you were there. Music is Summertime by My Chemical Romance <3

I made animated GIFs of some little clips of the video to serve as a preview. You can see the rest on my blog post in this link!

Last Friday, I had the incredible privilege of attending another talk by a fine artist I greatly admire, James Jean. You may read my blog post about it here.
I recorded his talk for the sake of my friends who couldn’t go with me that day. Here’s a short clip I wanted to share with you guys — when James Jean talks about tentacle rape and working with Gerard Way in making the album artwork for The Black Parade. Hearing an artist I hold in such high regard talk about (however candidly) working with another person I greatly admire made my heart jump a little.
